Posted on April 3rd, 2017 by Elizabeth Nelson

On Monday, May 8, 2017, 7-8 p.m. at the NE Branch Library, 330 7th St. NE. Richard Rashke, author of “Snowden, Silkwood and Their Quest for the Truth” will discuss the role of whistleblowers.

Whistleblowing: Moral Dilemma, Personal Sacrifice The Whistleblower’s Dilemma: Private citizens who reveal government secrets—heroes or scalawags? And at whose sacrifice? More relevant than ever, listen to Richard Rashke, author of Snowden, Silkwood And Their Quest For the Truth discuss the role of whistleblowers. Consider for yourself whether government regulators, politicians, our military-intelligence and our profit-oriented corporations can be trusted to protect us from harm as well as safeguard our privacy?
