Living on Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill is a wonderful place to live. Just east of the Capitol itself, it has long been home to government officials, dating all the way back to Abraham Lincoln when he represented Illinois, and in recent years was home to President Obama when he was Illinois’ junior Senator. Today, while still home to many government officials and their staffs, it draws a multitude of people who love its history, parks, outstanding architecture, thriving commercial and restaurant district, good schools, and family feel.
Capitol Hill citizens are active, dedicated, and proud to help make this the premier neighborhood of Washington, DC.
