Jul 14, 2013

Height Act Study Letter June 28, 2013  As the National Capital Planning Commission and the DC Office of Planning completed Phase 1 of the Congressionally directed Height Act study, CHRS urged them to make no changes in order to protect Washington, DC’s unique character.

The letter shows how changes to the Act would adversely affect standing policies established by the L’Enfant and McMillan Plans, DC Comprehensive Plan, zoning regulations, overlays and the CapitolSpace Partners Final Report, and describes impacts on the Capitol Hill area.  Previous letter: Height Act Study Letter July 18, 2013
