The Eastern High School Homecoming Parade will take place Friday, September 27, 2024, from 1- 2 pm. The football game begins, at the school (1700 East Capitol St. NE), at 6 pm. MPD reports that on Friday, September 27th, 2024, motorists should take into consideration the following parking restrictions and street closures associated with the Eastern High School Homecoming Parade.
The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
• 19th Street from East Capitol Street to C Street, NE
• C Street from 19th Street to 16th Street, NE
• North Carolina Avenue from 16th Street to 14th Street, NE
• 14th Street from North Carolina Avenue to East Capitol Street, NE
• East Capitol Street from 14th Street to 19th Street, NE
The following streets will be posted as closed to vehicles on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
• 19th Street from East Capitol Street to C Street, NE
• C Street from 19th Street to 16th Street, NE
• North Carolina Avenue from 16th Street to 14th Street, NE
• 14th Street from North Carolina Avenue to East Capitol Street, NE
• East Capitol Street from 14th Street to 19th Street, NE
