House Expo 2024

Have you been thinking about undertaking a home improvement project? Or do you just have questions about your home? You can find help and answers at the Capitol Hill Restoration Society’s annual House Expo in the North Hall of Eastern Market on Saturday, October 26, from 9 am to 3 pm.
The expo will feature more than 30 home contractors, service experts and city agencies with historic house experience. There will be a wide range of home service exhibitors and representatives of city agencies. There will be experts in real estate, finance, insurance and property management.
Capitol Hill Village plans to offer COVID and flu vaccinations from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Older adults and adults with disabilities are especially welcome. This vaccine clinic is possible because of support from the Administration for Community Living, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, thru the National Council on Aging.
During the day, CHRS volunteers will offer free insider walking tours of historic Eastern Market, including the basement, where you can see evidence of its past as a World War I shooting range.
