Village Voices – Lamson Murder Mystery

Nov 28, 2016

On Wednesday, January 3, 7 p.m. at the NE Branch Library, 330 7th St. NE.  Tom Zaniello will discuss his investigative book, “California’s Lamson Murder Mystery: Depression Era Case that Divided Santa Clara County”, which tells how the wrongful conviction of David Lamson that almost got him hanged in San Quentin was based on shoddy police work, corrupt and inept investigators, and demagogic prosecutors who had no regard for the truth, literally creating evidence to make him look guilty of striking his wife with a pipe.

Capitol Hill Village is sponsoring a series, “Village Voices”, for the community to meet and learn from each other in informal, free, public discussions about a range of social, economic and political topics. The series is free, open to the public and does not require (but does prefer) registration. To register, call 543-1778 or email: info@capitolhillvillage.org with your name and number attending.
