Village Voices: It`s Summer. Point me to the River! Monday, June 5, 2017, 7-8 p.m. at the NE Branch Library, 330 7th St. NE. The Anacostia River has long been seen as a toxic wasteland. However, recent citizen, government and non profit efforts show what will and public force can do to change the life of a waterway. Learn the river`s secrets, dreams, and hopes from Village member Bill Matuszeski.
