The Federal Highway Administration issued a Record of Decision (ROD) for the Virginia Avenue Tunnel Reconstruction Project, November 4, 2014.
The decision approves the requested proposed temporary closure of Interstate 695 ramps located at 6th and 8th Streets SE in the District of Columbia (DC) and the occupancy of a portion of the 11th Street Bridge right-of-way (I-695) in Southeast DC., based on information presented in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and other applicable federal regulations.
