CHRS Walking Tour – North Lincoln Park (east)

On September 27, 2015, CHRS presented a reprise of a 2007 tour of North Lincoln Park covering the 200 block of 14th Place NE, 1400 block of C Street NE, 200 block of 14th Street NE, Ames Place NE, 100 block 15th Street NE , and 1500 block of A Street NE. Topics included: Brick coursing, foliate carving, Craftsman-inspired rowhouses, The Nock*, and architects/builders Harry Kite, Albert Beers, Herman R. Howenstein, the Kennedy brothers,  A.H. Sonneman, and Lewis Wentworth Giles.
