On Friday, September 29, 2023 at 7 pm, the Society will present the 2023 Dick Wolf Lecture at Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE. The speaker will be Professor John Rennie Short, School of Public Policy, University of Maryland Baltimore County. Trick or Treat bags are always a big hit!
On Friday, October 27, 2023 CHRS will host a children’s activity table at Hilloween, an annual free street party outside of Eastern Market. We’ll have beads to string, CHRS trick-or-treat bags, and other goodies. The festivities kick off at 5 pm and shut down at 7:30 pm.

On October 28, 2023, from 9 am – 3 pm, CHRS will hold a free House Expo in the Eastern Market North Hall, featuring a wide variety of home service exhibitors and representatives of city agencies.
