CHRS had 131 submissions from 39photographers. Ten photos were selected to be judged by a panel of experts that included: Frank Thorp, producer at NBC News; Amy Moore, executive director of CHAW; Austin Graff, digital marketing expert; and Jenn Nordstrom, professional photographer, who is also this year’s cover artist for the CHRS House andGarden Tour booklet.

The Capitol Hill Restoration Society (CHRS) presented a free, virtual Preservation Café titled “50 Years of Historic Preservation and Restoration on Capitol Hill,” on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The café will featured architect Judith Capen, founder and principal, with husband Robert Weinstein, of the firm Architrave PC, one of the capital’s leading architectural firms. (more…)
