Mayor’s Agent denies request for demolition. Preservationists are applauding a District of Columbia decision to save a 104 year old carriage house near Lincoln Park which had been neglected by owners for many years.

October 18, 2012 — Latest developments
• New ramp from 11th Street SE to Southbound I-295 Now Open.
• New entrance onto the westbound Southeast Freeway from 11th Street, SE is expected to open in late fall 2012.
• Illegal shortcut from 17th Street & Barney Circle to the Southeast Freeway will be closed in stages, beginning September 17, 2012. This closure is for building the new Southeast/Southwest Boulevard.
• 11th Street Bridge Map 9-2012.
