To mark the DC Preservation League’s 45th anniversary, the organization honored individuals, corporations, and projects that have made a catalytic contribution to the city’s civic and cultural legacy. The Capitol Hill Restoration Society received an award for its “advocacy, education, community outreach efforts and for its early and sustained contributions to preservation efforts in Washington DC” at the 45th Anniversary Celebration on May 14, 2016. Feb 10, 2015 | 60th Anniversary of CHRS, Membership Forums, Not on Home
On January 28, 2015, we celebrated our 60th anniversary in the newly renovated parish hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Over 100 members and guests attended, and were treated to music, food, cake, and reminiscences about some of CHRS’s victories in past decades by members who took part.
