Hilloween is an annual free street party outside of Eastern Market. On Friday, October 25, 2019 , CHRS will again host a children’s activity table with beads to string, and an avalanche of  CHRS swag -pencils, lip balm, trick-or-treat bags.

Barracks Row Festival 2019

On Saturday, September 28, 2019 we will staff a booth at the Barracks Row Fall Festival, an ideal opportunity to introduce ourselves to newcomers to The Hill and to those living outside the boundaries of the Historic District. We will offer children’s activities to amuse our younger neighbors while we shared information about our accomplishments and future plans with their parents.

Ask the Hill Historian

Rediscover Eastern Market

A celebration will be held on June 7, 8 and 9 to mark the 10 year anniversary of the re-opening of Eastern Market following the 2007 fire. Docent led tours will be available June 9. Volunteers are being recruited to lead these tours.
