September 28, 2015, 6:30 p.m., DDOT, ANC 6B and ANC 6D will host a public meeting to review proposed plans for the restoration of the Virginia Avenue, SE, streetscape following the completion of the CSX Virginia Avenue Tunnel project. The meeting will be held in the community room at 200 I Street, SE.

On February 2, 2015, the Committee of 100 filed a reply in support of its application for a preliminary injunction against the CSX tunnel project. This detailed legal document spells out the reasons the project should not go forward at this time. A hearing on the Motion for a Preliminary Injunction will be held on February 17, at the US Courthouse, 333 Constitution Ave. N.W., Judge Christopher R. Cooper courtroom.
CSX and its contractor, Clark/Parsons, are sponsoring an open house for the community from 4:30-7:30 p.m. this coming Thursday, February 5, 2015.
