CHRS provided comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Union Station Redevelopment, July 2023.

In early March, 2022 the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) presented a significantly different concept proposal for the station expansion.  The materials presented at that meeting: meeting notes and presentation.

The Post reported December 27, 2020 on the problems with the FRA plan for Union Station, citing many of the same issues that CHRS raised in our comments on the draft environmental impact statement that we filed in September 2020. See below.

Comments on the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) draft environmental impact statement have been submitted.

For the past three years CHRS has participated in an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) undertaken by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) for the expansion of the Union Station Rail Terminal.
