The DC Preservation League, with the input from its partners, put forth a questionnaire to the 2014 candidates for DC Mayor to gain insight on their views on critical issues affecting the preservation, protection, and economic reuse of the city’s built heritage. In September 2014, the National Park Service and District of Columbia approved a plan to address contamination in the soil in the area southeast of Water Street, beneath and east of the 11th Street Bridge.

Frager’s Hardware of Capitol Hill has reached an agreement with Roadside Development, LLC, a District based developer, to purchase its property at 1101-1117 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, on Capitol Hill. After development, Frager’s will return as their anchor tenant under a long-term lease.
