On May 3, 2018, the Historic Preservation Review Board approved the Kingman Park Historic District (Historic Designation Case 16-19).  

Residents of Emerald Street, NE (13th/14th/E/F streets)  sought a historic district to protect their street. ANC 6A sponsored the application, which CHRS supported.

Residents of Emerald Street NE (between 13th/14/E/F streets) have been working to make their street a historic district.  ANC 6A sponsored the historic district nomination.  The DC Historic Preservation Office has accepted the Emerald Street Historic District nomination for filing and assigned it Case No.17-05. On September 27, 2015, CHRS presented a reprise of a 2007 tour of North Lincoln Park covering the 200 block of 14th Place NE, 1400 block of C Street NE, 200 block of 14th Street NE, Ames Place NE, 100 block 15th Street NE , and 1500 block of A Street NE.

On Sunday, September 13, 2015, Beth Purcell gave a walking tour of the North Lincoln Park area.
