Village Voices – Chesapeake Bay

Posted on June 5th, 2016

It’s Summer, do you know where your watershed is? The Chesapeake, the Bay, the Watershed, the Legend.  Tuesday, June 7, 2016.

The Chesapeake Bay watershed is legendary for its land-to-water ratio. It’s the greatest in the world by tenfold.  And, like all giants on earth, this creates interesting challenges and opportunities as demonstrated by its role in history, culture and regional economics.   Learn the Bay’s secrets, dreams, and hopes for the future. From Bill Matuszeski, former Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program at 7 p.m. at the Northeast Library, 330 7th St. NE.

Capitol Hill Village is sponsoring a series, “Village Voices”, for the community to meet and learn from each other in informal, free, public discussions about a range of social, economic and political topics. The series is free, open to the public and does not require (but does prefer) registration. To register, call 543-1778 or email: info@capitolhillvillage.org with your name and number attending.
